NAIQ Health AI is an assistive research and educational tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide a diagnosis, and does not give medical advice. It must never be used as the basis for any clinical or personal health decision.

1. Not a diagnosis and not medical advice

The output of NAIQ Health AI (any probability, score, highlight, label such as "higher-risk" or "lower-risk", or other characterisation) is a computational estimate produced by a statistical model. It is not a medical diagnosis, prognosis, treatment recommendation, or professional medical opinion. It does not establish, confirm, or rule out the presence of cancer or any other disease.

2. Intended use

NAIQ Health AI is intended solely to assist qualified, licensed medical professionals and researchers by highlighting a user-selected region of interest on a CT image and offering an exploratory characterisation. It is not intended for use by patients or members of the public to self-assess, and it is not intended to be relied upon for autonomous clinical decision-making.

3. Always consult a qualified professional

Any interpretation of a CT scan and any decision about diagnosis, further testing, or treatment must be made by a licensed radiologist or physician on the basis of the full clinical picture. If you have a health concern, contact a qualified healthcare provider. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

4. Known limitations

The model was developed on a research dataset and has limited accuracy; it produces both false positives and false negatives.
Results depend heavily on image quality, calibration, and the region you select; a poor or loose selection can produce a misleading estimate.
The tool assesses only a single, user-marked 2-D region; it does not automatically detect nodules, screen an entire scan, or characterise anything you have not marked.
The tool has not been validated in a prospective clinical trial and has not been cleared or approved by any medical-device regulator.

5. No warranty

NAIQ Health AI is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NAIQ Health Tech and its contributors accept no liability for any loss or harm arising from use of, or reliance on, this tool.

6. Regulatory status

NAIQ Health AI is not a registered or licensed medical device under the rules of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO, India), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR), or any other authority.
